Bukas Loob Sa Diyos Las Vegas Friday Praise and Worship

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Please join us in our Praise and Worship this Friday at 5:00 pm, January 31, 2025,

at the St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church.

We will start with The Rosary @ 5:00 pm followed by Praise and Worship at 5:30 pm.

3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Prayer Leader: The Martires

1st Reading: The Casao

Psalms: Praise Ministry

2nd Reading The Fontillas

Theme: We share the light of Christ when we minister to the poor, the oppressed and the sick.

Promise: “… if one part is honored, all the parts share its joy.” (1Cor 12:26b)

Order: “…bring glad tidings to the poor; proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.” (Luke 4:18)

Directions: We are called by God to serve and help others with compassion by doing the seven corporal works of mercy:

1. Feed the hungry

2. Give drink to the thirsty

3. Clothe the naked

4. Shelter the homeless

5. Visit the sick

6. Visit the imprisoned

7. Bury the dead
