Bukas Loob Sa Diyos Las Vegas Friday Praise and Worship

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

     Please join us in our  Praise and Worship this Friday at 5:30 pm, August 8, 2025 at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church Rectory.  

     We will start with The Rosary  @ 5:30 pm followed by Praise and Worship at 6:00 pm.

18th Sunday in Ordinary Time

August 3 2025 – Eccl 1:2; 2:21-23/ Ps 90:3-4, 5-6, 12-13, 14, 17/ Col 3:1-5, 9-11/ Lk 12:13-21

Theme: We store up heavenly treasures when we guard against idolatry and worldly attachments.

Promise: “When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory.” (Col 3:4)

Order: “Take care to guard against all greed, for though may be rich, one’s life does not consist of possessions.” (Luke 12:15)

Direction:

1. Let our lives reflect the richness of God’s grace, not the riches of the world by choosing a lifestyle that reflects trust in God, not in material comfort.

2. Do not love your possessions, rather love your neighbors. Be generous not just with material things, but with time, compassion, and presence.

3. As a BLD community, prioritize giving over gaining. Live simply, share generously and trust fully in God’s provisions.
